THE POETTES
Original rock music
Danceable & fun!

Description of The Poettes' music:

With new and old members blending in art and rock, A Poettes' live experience is smart, theatrical, danceable and fun!

A fan says: "Like a cross between the B-52s and The Pixies. "

Our guitar player, Dave says: "The Poettes are not comparable to anyone else. We are completely unique in our sound!"

The 7-member ensemble brings alt rock, edgy folk, Bossa Nova and straight up rock with a positive vibe, ready to launch the love bomb!

The Poettes come from a long lineage of fun, upbeat party rock. In its first iteration, way back when, the band was described as, “a cross between Captain Beefheart and The B-52s.” Part spoken word, part rock – n - roll. All fun!

The genesis of The Poettes comes from original poetry, penned by founding band leader, Edgar Allen. And all the original band members contributed to their unique sound. It's time to hear the Poettes’ again! Life is all about letting go and moving forward. After all, life is short, art is long!
